Come check out the new art work on public display in Court Yard #2 at Fairlington Community Center. The work was created by a group of teens participating in an afterschool program along with staff from the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. The kinetic piece, entitled "Stepping Stones", is 10" tall and 4" wide and serves as the backdrop of the courtyard fountain. It was created by nailing 5,200 blue, green, and silver sequins to an aluminum pegboard. The results are a striking piece of art and a great addition to the Community Center!
